Dimitri From Paris è un Personaggio affascinante e poliedrico, un miscuglio di culture ed etnie differenti, trova la sua strada nell’Alta Moda e nei raffinati salotti del Mondo che conta. Affermandosi a livello planetario come uno dei nomi più grandi della gloriosa scuola del French Touch Monsieur Dimitri entra nel mondo della musica e dei migliori club alla fine degli anni ‘80 fornendo brani originali per le sfilate di Moda di marchi prestigiosi come Chanel, Lagerfeld and Gautier. Il parigino sempre ricercato dall’alta moda per curare le selezioni musicali delle serate e i party esclusivi di Dior, Fendi, Jean Paul Gaultier Lagerfeld e Yves Saint-Laurent lo portano a frequentare salotti prestigiosi dove tra cocktail-party e donne bellissime incontra Hugh Hefner patron della rivista Playboy. Sara’ lo stesso Hugh a volerlo come dj in uno dei suoi esclusivi e ambitissimi party. Dimitri regala agli ospiti una serata memorabile che diventerà poi una compilation di grande successo: “A Night at the Playboy Mansion”. Le prime uscite discografiche (risalenti agli inizi degli anni ’90) hanno dato, allora, un grande slancio alla Yellow Production etichetta fondata da Bob Sinclair. Continuano poi le produzioni di grande spessore discografico come “Sacrebleu”, ”Mounsier Dimitri’s De-Lux House of Funk” e , ”Disco Forever”, “Cruising Attitude” e tanti altri. Marilyn Monroe amava dire “Non vado mai a dormire senza una goccia di Chanel N°5”. Se Fosse ancora fra noi, oggi probabilmente ascolterebbe Dimitri From Paris.
