Gianni Romano, Carlo Grieco, and Peppe Folliero are the powerful musical force known under the name Daddy’s Groove. Young and talented from Naples, Italy.
In 2006 they joined forces already having gained experience from Carlo and Gianni DJing throughout Italy, and therefore already a household name on Italian club scene.
Quickly being approached by several major and indie labels such as Warner Music, DiscoWax/Sony Music, Atlantic, Polydor, EMI, Geffen, Parlophone, Axtone, Defected Records and Strictly Rhythm to work on their projects by adding their own special special touch with their Daddy’s Groove remixes.
They have already done remixes for artists such as Kylie Minogue, Whitney Houston, James Blunt, Enrique Iglesias, Nabiha, The Wanted, Axwell, Ingrosso, Angello & Laidback Luke, Louie Vega, Prok & Fitch, Cerrone, Atfc, Michael Canitrot, Norman Doray & Tristan Garner, The Shapeshifters, Quentin Harris and Sandy Rivera to name a few.
In 2009 they started releasing their own productions such as; Power 2 the people, Wild world, Its not right but its ok, Eargasm, Kiss my Agony and Shorebreak. Instantly receiving support from the worlds heavy DJ and Radio heavy weights incl.; Pete Tong, Radio 1, David Guetta, Kiss FM, Swedish House Mafia, Axwell, Bob Sinclar, Tiesto, Norman Doray, Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso and many more. Summer 2011 took the guys to a new level, seeing the beginning of their long term collaboration with the number 1 DJ and Producer in the world, David Guetta.
Starting by doing additional production and instruments, mix and mastering for 9 tracks on his multi million selling album “Nothing But The Beat” incl. “Without you” Where them girls at” and “Turn me on”, Already DJ’ing as a duo in the most prestigious clubs and event around the world incl.; Fuck me I’m Famous (Pacha, Ibiza & Miami) alongside David Guetta, at Masqerade Motel (Pacha, Ibiza) with Swedish House Mafia and Amnesia (Ibiza).
Daddy’s Groove have arrived and Its safe to say they have made a firm mark on all the club charts all over the world as well as in the clubs it will be very exciting to see what 2012 brings.
