| Biography:
From the days of boom-boxes and cassette tapes, Miki dreamt to share music with the world. Little did she know that all it would take is one good risk and a leap of faith to turn that dream into reality…
While living in the energetic city of New York and working heavily with the Prestigious Models Agency, Miki stepped away from corporate life to take her first stride into the DJ booth. Though inexperienced (at the time) and self-taught, she quickly came to embrace her new “office,” behind the decks, soon appearing in cities throughout the US, as well as well as, parts of Asia and Europe. She has been a featured DJ at such events as Gamescom, in 2011, when it saw a record attendance of 275,000 people from all over the globe.
Amidst spinning her way onto new stages and venues, Miki served as the official spokesmodel and TV correspondent for the drifting series, Formula Drift. At the end of her 2009 tour as Miss Formula Drift, she caught the attention of Electronic Arts’, Need for Speed and was later invited for a “test run” in Dubai. Subsequently, Miki was selected to tour as resident DJ for the Team NFS “Electro Lounge” (designed to suit her progressive electronic style) and for 2 consecutive years, she embarked upon a life-changing journey with the popular video game for the release of several titles.
Now residing in California, Miki continues to travel, though she maintains her infatuation with the dynamic city of San Francisco and has found a home at one of its’ premier nightclubs, Temple. Here, she has been given yet another opportunity to express herself with a taste in music that need not be defined by mainstream popularity or radio play but, simply, by how it gets and keeps the crowd moving. Driven by passion, Miki tirelessly seeks to gain knowledge and improve upon what she loves most… infecting people with the same beats and sounds that keep her heart pumping and blood coursing through her veins.
